Remember moving from one place to another is stressful for all your pets. Keep your new pet separate from pets already in your home - no exceptions.
The introduction period usually takes 3 to 4 weeks, but varies - it can be 4 to 6 days or as long as 8 weeks.
An approved adoption form starts the process. Your form is good for 1 year from date of submission and begins the process to adopt any HSNEI dog, puppy, cat, or kitten.
With an approved adoption form within the 1-year, you can initiate an adoption process for a new family member by sending a "Would Like to Adopt" email to info@hsnei.org.
